Our Cogeneration Plant, at 10km away from the center of Uşak, has been activated by 1 Wartsilla 9MW powered W20V34SG naturalgaz engine in June 2006.

In March 2012 the installed capacity was incread to 19MW by adding a second engine therefore reaching the production capacity of 155 million KW electricity, 40,000 tons of steam, 375,000 cubicmeter hot water.

Environment and Forestry Ministry’s 17.01.2005 date and 288-3259 numbered article awarded the plant ÇED “EIA is not required” Certificate by the decision of “ÇED-Environmental Impact Assessment is not required”.

Our Facility, registered by the Market Financial Settlemet Directorate within the TEIAŞ General Directorate, is to act as balancing entity and meets the 30% electricity demand of our province.

Our Company aims to assess the electric energy produced through “Day Ahead Project”, “Balancing Power Market” or by means of bilateral aggrements while the steam and hot water energies through “Hydroponic project” still in the planning stage or through “Combined Cogeneration Plant Model” by investing in bigger projects.

Our facility, although being an environmentalist, human and nature friendly, is in standards not to have any negative impact on living things.

Disposal and recyling of waste emitted by our plant is processed by the regulations as stated by Ministry of Environment and Urban Development.

The amount of SO2, emmitted by the usage of naturalgas used as fuel, is negligible.

The amount of NOx emissions is suitable according to the most stringent NOx laws.

The noise of the plant when two units in use,is 82-83 decibels just outside the plant and 70 decibels at 100m distance.
