Free Zones Law No. 3218 and No. 2000/693 as of Ministers of the Council decision, Kocaeli Free Zone in accordance with the limits set, has 30-year free zone status.

In order develope Kocaeli Free Zone’s infrastructure and superstructure, medium and large-scale industrial companies joined their forces to establishe KOSBAS, Kocaeli Free Zone Development & Operating A.Ş..

Taking into account the perfect location, the Zone, projected on a land of 817.000sqm, aims to attract and accelarate the foreign investment and technology, to provide the essential industrial inputs economically and on regular basis, also to provide investors’s with viable external finance and to benefit more from technology transfer opportunities.
